- The Competition is open to Clubs within a radius of thirteen miles of Salisbury.
- Players to be bona fide members of the Club for which they are playing. Having once represented a team in a match a player cannot transfer to another team during any one season. Any Club playing an unregistered player will lose the points for the match.
- Matches to be played on: DARTS: Ladies – Monday: Friday darts: – Friday: POOL: – Tuesday: SNOOKER: – Wednesday: CRIBBAGE: – Thursday: commencing at 8.00 pm. If any team if any team is not ready to start by 8.30 pm the defaulting team to forfeit the points.
- POSTPONEMENTS OF MATCHES: No match to be postponed without section secretary’s permission or the game will be void. Secretary to be notified in writing at least seven days before with reason for wanting postponement. winning team to send result card to the section secretary within seven days or the game will be void.
- Protests regarding the eligibility of players or any other violation of rules will be dealt with by the General Committee and must be lodged in writing with the Secretary within seven days after the date of the match in question, accompanied by a deposit of £10 which will be forfeited should the protest not be sustained.
- All protests, objections, fines etc., will be dealt with by the committee whose decision will be final.
- Each Club will have two votes at at any committee meeting
- Any Club withdrawing a team from the league will have its
results expunged from the in full, Clubs withdrawing teams from the league after fixture sheets have gone out to be charged £25 per team upon entry the following season, or subsequent seasons until paid
- Children of 14 years of age & over able to play in our league
providing parent or guardian are members of the Club they wish to play for and accompany them on the night of the match, but will not be allowed in Clubs that have age restrictions.
- All proposals for change of rules must be forwarded to the
General Secretary by the 1st of April each year in writing, these proposals to be published by the by the General Secretary at the time of notification of the A.G.M.
- After three defaulting games, disciplinary action might be taken at the next meeting with the possibility of being withdrawn from the league, which currently holds a £ 25 fine, a fine of £5 per claimed game is to be made upon entry the following season until paid, no teams can enter our league until paid.
- Winners will forfeit their trophies unless at least 50% turn up or a valid reason is given for not attending the presentation
evening.
- All Clubs should have insurance cover ; Occupiers and Public Liability. “Disclaimer” League and its Officers not liable for any injury or loss suffered by anyone participating in any of our events or competitions.
